Our client, a FinTech Start-up, is looking to hire an experienced Backend JavaScript Developer to work on their Digital platform. The successful candidate will have responsibility over the architecture, design and development of the backend and GCP application features. It's a highly modern, digital environment - the organisation utilises AI and Machine Learning technology to create a platform that provides forward thinking customer experiences. There is an Agile approach to development through the use of TDD/BDD, Scrum and Kanban concepts.

Candidates will need:

• Technical skills with backend JavaScript and NodeJS
• Strong demonstrable experience using Google Cloud
• An Agile Development background (Scrum, Kanban, CI/CD)
• Strong APIs, Microservices or experience using Spring Boot
• Experience working on and Digital/Mobile Native development projects is preferred
• Strong communication skills and confidence to take ownership of development tasks
