Business Analyst: Credit Risk; Data; SQL; Finance; UAT; Basel

One of my clients, a reputable Bank, is looking to hire a Business Analyst to play a key part on Credit Risk retail banking project. The specific project team that this role sits within support functions such as risk management and finance, but the management team really wants someone from a Credit Risk background for this role.

You will be supporting a large Credit Risk Stress Testing book of work that focusses on how Basel 3.1 requirements affect various tools and approaches to project deliverables. Other responsibilities include:

  • Sitting with users within Risk Management to gather requirements and translate these into functional specifications.
  • Supporting UAT and working with users to support the development and maintenance of business design documentation.
  • Conducting complex data mapping and data analysis when needed.
  • Support the project manager with risk identification, risk reporting and project risks mitigation.

To be right for this role, you will need the following experience in your CV/previous roles:

  • Business Analysis experience in Credit Risk supporting Basel 3 project.
  • Gathering requirements from users (ideally within Risk Management) and translating these into specs.
  • Experience running UAT.
  • Good SQL experience
  • Any Python or Cloud experience highly beneficial.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-profile project where there is scope to extend on the initial 6-month contract to the latter part of next year. The team are mostly remote but would require onsite presence in their London location once a week.

Please note this is a PAYE contract going through an Umbrella company. The rate quoted above is the Umbrella rate.
