Data Engineer/Data Scientist - Investment Banking - £700-800

Our client, a Global Bank, is looking for an experienced Data Scientist/Data Engineer to work on the greenfield design and build of a new Data Analytics platform for its Front Office business.

You will play a key part in the design and build of a new Data Science and Analytics platform to be used across Sales, Trading and Risk.

Candidates will need:

• Experience with Data Science and basics of R
• Strong Python development background
• Strong system design and architecture skills
• Knowledge of AWS or GCP
• Exposure to Test Automation
• Strong commercial experience working on strategic system development
• Previous experience working within an Agile environment
• Any exposure to Kubernetes would be advantageous.
