Our banking client is looking for a Digital Solution Designer / Architect to work in an integral role as part of their growing Digital technology function.

The successful candidate will be part of the banks digital transformation drive across the business, and will focus on designing a best in class, market leading mobile banking app and website. Specifically, this candidate will be designing and elevating the designs to a detailed technical level that engineers can code from, therefore they must have a background in event-driven architecture and data streaming technology.

This position may also suit an experienced Developer who has also worked extensively on Design, looking to move into a pure Design/Architecture focussed role, or a Solutions Architect.

Candidates requirements:

• Demonstrable experience of Solutions Design and Architecture in a Digital environment
• Strong back end experience and knowledge of API's
• Ideally experience across both mobile and web, using Kotlin or Swift
• Data Streaming, and specifically any Kafka skills are advantageous
• Cloud experience is nice to have
• Banking or Financial Services is preferable but not essential
