Infrastructure Engineer (Windows Server, VMWare, PowerShell) - £80,000 - London

My client a leading Asset Management company are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer (Windows Server, VMWare, PowerShell) to join their expanding team based in London.

The successful Infrastructure Engineer (Windows Server, VMWare, PowerShell) will be responsible for providing 3rd line support of Microsoft and VMWare Technologies, the administration of HPE server estate and Microsoft estate and working with suppliers to select and implement new technologies.

Experienced required of the Infrastructure Engineer (Windows Server, VMWare, PowerShell):

• Understanding of how Microsoft technologies scale in a large environment including Windows Server 2016/2019, Active Directory and supporting services (DNS, ADFS, AzureAD etc)
• Deep understanding of virtualisation technologies with hands on experience with either VMWare vSphere 6+ or Hyper-V
• Scripting in Powershell
• Understanding of cloud technologies
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Demonstrable understanding of how an enterprise infrastructure functions
