My client, a leading bank, is looking for an IT Security Architect / Information Security Architect to work firm wide with a focus on Data Loss Prevention (DLP). You will support the Head of Information Security in the development of a DLP security architecture, identifying adequate solutions and leading their deployment. The successful candidate will develop and deliver of technical security standards, procedures and guidelines in relation to DLP and also support business projects in the design of security solutions.

The role with work with teams across the business to document, identify and improve the security architecture of critical business applications and infrastructure, representing Information Security in governance forums to ensure new and updated solutions are coherent with the security architecture.

Candidate requirements:

• A proven track record in IT Security Architecture, ideally gained within a financial services environment although this isn't essential
• Previous experience designing and deploying DLP solutions, Data Privacy, Data Protection etc
• Must hold relevant industry accreditations e.g. SABSA, TOGAF, CISSP or CISM certifications.
• Experience using a layered security architecture model
