React Developer - Front Office - Investment Banking - London

An established London based Bank is looking for an experienced React Developer to work on the greenfield design and build of a new mobile application on it's greenfield digital platform for a Front Office team.

Candidates will require:

• Strong commercial track record of designing, developing and delivering React, JavaScript and HTML5 based Front Ends into production
• Design, build and implementation of real-time, complex, web based front ends ideally within a trading, pricing or risk environment
• Strong core JavaScript development
• Background across Banking/Finance
• OO Design and development
• Agile, TDD, Scrum methodologies
• Understanding of front to back architectures
• Developing well-structured, fully tested, clean, production ready code

The role will play a key part in the design and build of a new mobile application for a greenfield digital project within front office sales and trading. They are currently in the process of setting up the initial platform offering and building out the KDB and Hadoop infrastructure and require JavaScript expertise in React to build the Front End.

The role will offer a unique opportunity to play an integral part in the build out of the new platform and is a fantastic and rare opportunity to play a critical and integral part in the long term design and implementation of a greenfield GUI within the digital space.
