Scala Developer (Scala, Java, HTML5) - Banking

Our client, an established City based Bank, is looking to hire an experienced Scala Developer onto a long term project within its Trading Business.

The role will involve the ongoing development of complex applications built in Scala, Java, Hadoop, Spark across an Agile.

Candidates will need:

• Strong commercial Scala experience
• Expert level Java engineering background
• Strong multi-threading, concurrency, garbage collection.
• Demonstrable experience working on and delivering large scale development projects
• Any commercial experience in Hadoop, Spark, HTML5, would be highly beneficial.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the development of a large scale greenfield development project.
