Windows System Administrator - Win Server 2008/2012 - Powershell - Financial Services

Our client, an established financial institution requires a Windows System Administrator to work on the management of their global platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and demonstrable track record of supporting Windows environments; as well as, advanced PowerShell scripting and Windows Server 2008-2012 experience.

The role will be focussed on Windows Infrastructure and will contribute to IT Standards and procedures that ensure the quality and reliability of the estate is retained. This person will also:

• Drive forward processes for Problem Management.
• Plan systematic resolution strategies.
• Engage with stakeholders, suppliers and clients in order to build and maintain collaborative relationships.
• Participate in a global oncall rotation.

It is essential that candidates have experience of Windows 2008 & 2012 environments as well as PowerShell Scripting and System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM). Any exposure to Microsoft DNS Support, SCOM and Server Hardware (Dell/HP) is highly beneficial.
