Application Support Manager; Support Team Lead; Java; JBoss; Oracle; Data
One of our leading Asset Management clients is looking to hire an Application Support lead to work in their London offices. The right Application Support lead will be given a team of 5 Technical Support staff (all based in London) to manage. Your team will be responsible for several data-driven applications which are system to system communication-based.
This is a newly-structured team and you will split your role down the middle - 50% management and 50% hands-on support. The systems are built in Java/JBoss/Oracle so you must have a background in supporting systems built in these technologies.
There is no weekend work or on-call in this role. Hours are 8-6 and you will decide which team member work which shifts to cover those hours.
Requirements for the role are as follows:
- Previous Application Support team lead experience
- Background supporting systems built in Java/Jboss/Oracle
- Experience working across data-rich applications
- Openshift Application experience (nice to have)
- Financial Services experience (advantageous)
