Senior Application Security Engineer - Financial Services - Greenfield

My client, an investment manager specialising in systematic trading are looking to hire their first Application Security Engineer to join the team and have ownership of AppSec and Secure Development.

This will include everything from taking over the VM program, performing threat modelling and risk assessments and integrating AppSec tools into their existing development. You will be the SME for Application Security!

Requirements:

• Strong background in Application Security
• Good understanding of secure coding principles
• Understanding of multiple software development & automation tools
• Track record of performing threat modelling and risk assessments
• Understanding of API Security / Secrets management
• Scripting knowledge preferably Python

Please note: This role requires you to be in office 4-5 days p/w in London
