IT Support; Support Analyst; Application Support; Service Delivery; SQL; Composer; Windows

My client, a well-known financial services company, is looking to hire an IT Support Analyst to join its Wealth Management division in their Croydon offices. The role is to join a new team that are in the early stages of setting up a production environment for several new users across the organisation. The Wealth Management division is a brand-new arm to the business which is due to go live in the Summer, so this is a chance to get into the team as it is being set up with a view to supporting the systems and investment business from go-live date.

You will be playing an integral part in getting the systems up and running for the production environment that you will end up supporting so any experience of doing this would be a massive plus.

They have decided to use GBST Composer as their end-to-end platform so any experience using this would be massively advantageous. Otherwise, exposure to other wealth management platforms would be fine too.

Technical skills in the following is essential for this role:

  • SQL
  • SQL Server
  • Windows Servers
  • Batch Scheduling
  • Monitoring

Any exposure to the following is a big advantage but not essential:

  • Scripting,
  • UNIX
  • Messaging Queues
  • SSRS/SSIS

This is a chance to join a new venture in a big company right at the start, the sort of which doesn't come around very often. You will get the opportunity to work on the beginnings of the system integration and have time to get up to speed with everything that you will be supporting when the area goes live in the Summer.
