Azure Cloud Architect - Greenfield - FinTech - London

Our FinTech client is looking for an Azure Cloud Architect to set up a Greenfield Cloud Native Microservices based architecture.

The role will involve leading the greenfield architecture of a new Azure platform, designing the end to end service lifecycle, infrastructure and platform services in the Cloud, building infrastructure as code as well as setting up system, security and monitoring standards.

Candidates will need to have a background in setting up Azure based Cloud platforms, detailed knowledge of architectural design processes, a track record in supporting technology and the wider development landscape to deliver the best possible new world architecture.

Candidates will need:

• Strong experience designing, managing and deploying Azure Cloud platforms
• Strong DevOps background - building CI/CD pipelines
• Strong Automation skills using Powershell
• Good understanding of Cloud Native Microservices
• Strong understanding of Containerisation
• Good API Management
• Ability to set up monitoring tools and configure them
• Previous experience using Terraform, Chef, Jenkins and Puppet would also be useful
