BI Test Engineer - Digital Start-Up - London

Our client, a City based start-up, is currently looking to hire a Business Intelligence Test Engineer to be a part of a global project roll out. As the Test Engineer within BI Data Engineering, you'll help deliver technical solutions that will meet the business requirements for their clients. This will include defining, estimating, planning and executing manual and automated test scripts as appropriate. You will also be involved in building API Automation frameworks for the next generation reporting and analytical solutions that aim to completely revolutionise the current industry.

Candidates will require:

• Strong understanding of data warehouses and big data platforms
• Strong ETL technical design, development and support skills
• Experience in building a framework from scratch desirable but not essential
• Solid API testing skills
• Coding languages such as Java are strongly preferred
• Commercial experience with Selenium, Cucumber, LeanFT, Maven, Jenkins and Git would be beneficial
• Must be proficient in SQL
• Unix and Python experience needed
• Exposure to Hadoop, Hbase and Hive are desirable but not essential
