Data Analytics - Big Data - FinTech - Business Analysis - Project Manager

An established FinTech firm are currently seeking a Data Analytics expert to take on the role of a hybrid Business Analyst/Project Manager on a large-scale Analytics innovative Greenfield project in their headquarters based in London.

The Data Analytics Specialist will face off to a number of internal technical teams including Data Scientists, Machine Learning Specialists and Data Developers as well as working with senior Business Stakeholders in order to track the project and document specific requirements. The Big Data Analytics platform being built will facilitate all the data that they provide across a wide variety of industries including Financial Services, Energy, Maritime, Agriculture and Aeronautics amongst others.

The successful candidate for this role will therefore have to work with the technical teams in order to perform a lot of the analysis work around the underlying Data and Analytics models.

To be successful in your application for the role of Data Analytics BA/PM you should have the following key skills and experiences:

• Strong understanding of Data Analytics; not necessarily at a Mathematicians level but must be able to understand the work that the Data Scientists and Machine Learning Specialists are carrying out and relay progress to the business
• Excellent knowledge around underlying the underlying Data, must be able to read the models.
• Will have ideally worked across a variety of different industries
• Understanding of Big Data Technologies including Hadoop, Spark etc. is desirable but non-essential
