My client, a leading financial services firm are looking for a Bond Pricing Analyst to join their London team. The function provides independent pricing, transparency and liquidity metrics on government, sovereign, agency and corporate bonds, using a proprietary tool along with a variety of market data sources to evaluate over bond prices intraday.


This position requires someone with a good understanding of how fixed income instruments are priced with special focus on corporate and government bonds. The successful candidate will be expected to monitor market movements and become a sector specialist in the designated area. Operational tasks such as data delivery, customer support, and client relationships will also be part of this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately pricing various sectors of the EMEA fixed income market using proprietary models and responsibilities will include credit spread analysis, dealers quote research, analysis of primary and secondary markets, maintaining existing pricing models as well as increase sector coverage, monitoring and controlling price file distribution, manage client challenges and general customer support.


Experience required:

  • Knowledge of the fixed income markets, particularly the cash bond markets and a keen awareness of the credit space.
  • A proven track record in a hands on capital markets role, working as either a trading assistant, market analyst or a pricing analyst
  • University degree in Finance, Economics or Mathematics
  • Technical skills in Excel and knowledge of VBA, SQL or Python is desirable.
