One of our Banking clients is looking to hire a Business Analyst to play an important role on a major migration piece that has the potential to last until 2026. The Bank are migrating their accountancy platform from one legacy platform to another, and so ideally need a BA with strong experience of defining 'as is' and 'to be' processes/operating models, ideally in Banking and on a migration programme.

You will come into an established team who have already worked on what data is going on to the new platform, so you will focus on working closely with the business to extract information from them and sharing with the wider team to ensure what is needed on the new platform.

The project will require a lot of problem solving and fact finding, not simply obtaining a set of new requirements from a designated customer. Therefore, someone experienced with the ability to work autonomously as well as with business teams will be key.

To be right for this role, you must have a background in the following:

  • Experience of defining 'as is' and 'to be' processes/operating models in another Bank
  • Setting up and running workshops with users
  • Previous experience working as a Business Analyst on a platform migration programme in Banking
  • Some experience in working as a BA on a legacy accounting platform would be highly desired

This is a 6-month contract with a view to multiple extensions. It will pay £550 p/d (umbrella rate) and require you to be in their Bristol location two days a week (most likely Tuesday and Thursdays).
