Our client, a global Investment Bank, is looking to hire an experienced Developer to be part of their Front Office Rates team.

The role will be working on their large Rates Platform and there is an ongoing pipeline of work involving designing, building and improving the existing server side system. They are looking for candidates with a strong C# or C++ development background with complementary skills in SQL Server and FIX. They work to a strong Agile methodology, so you will be responsible for maintaining and improving development quality through TDD and BDD concepts. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a front office trading environment.

Candidates must have:

• Strong C# or C++ background
• Good skills using SQL Server
• Demonstrable experience in Front Office Banking environments
• Any experience using STL, FIX and Python is desirable
• Understanding of OO concepts and good knowledge of design patterns
• Experience working in a TDD environment, including event driven messaging libraries
