C++ Developer - Front Office - Systematic Trading - Banking - £140k

Our client, a leading Investment Bank are currently looking to hire an experienced C++ Developer with a background in Systematic/Algo Trading.

You will be a hands on developer, implementing and developing algos and working with the business to recommend other areas of parametrisation.

Candidates will be expected to work with various areas across the bank such as Risk and Trading teams whilst working on both the existing infrastructure and building out a new system with C++.

There is a huge scope for greenfield work going into the new year so there is a real opportunity to make an impact in the business.

Key requirements:

• Strong C++ experience with a background in a Front Office environment working on Systematic/Algo trading systems
• Ability to handle multiple requests from various business users
• Knowledge of KDB is a huge advantage, if not another tick/time series data database would also be considered
• Business knowledge in Equities, FX or Fixed Income
• Strong academic background (Ideally from a Russell Group University in a STEM subject)
