Cloud Developer - GCP - Banking - Sheffield

My banking client is looking for a Google Cloud / GCP Developer to work on a long term strategic Cloud programme.

The role will involve playing a key part in the design and development of new technical solutions across the Bank including designing the end to end service lifecycle, infrastructure and platform services in the Cloud, building infrastructure as code as well as setting up system and security standards.

Candidates will need to have a background in GCP, good knowledge of architectural design processes, a track record in supporting technology and the wider development landscape to deliver the best possible new world architecture.

Candidates will need:

• Strong experience designing and developing GCP/Google Cloud platforms
• Strong experience with BigQuery or DataHub
• Good Python skills
• Any background in DevOps building CI/CD pipelines would be useful
• Financial Services background would be beneficial
