Compliance Assurance Lead (FCC/AML/CDD)

My client, a global bank, is looking for an Assurance Lead to work across a major global Compliance programme. The Assurance function exercises over-arching assurance for the entire programme lifecycle, defining and prompting Quality Control processes that should be followed by delivery projects and work-streams, as monitored by PMOs. The successful candidate will conduct quality assessments of key written programme deliverables (e,g, statements of policy, procedural standards, procedures) and assess the quality of technology and process deliverables, conducting risk assessments for in-flight activities (projects and programmes in flight, work-streams, data exercises, remediation exercises).

The Assurance Lead will provide delivery and content assurance against each of the Programmes across Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) and Financial Intelligence (FI), and will have responsibility for providing delivery and assurance support to all aspects of the programmes, projects and work streams.

Candidate requirements:

• Previous experience of risk assessments in a Compliance environment
• Project or Programme experience including status reporting, plans, milestones, RAIDs
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance / Management frameworks
• Background in Financial Crime Compliance (FCC), Audit or Compliance
