Database Engineer / DBA - Systematic Trading

Are you an experienced Database Engineer / DBA looking for a new challenge in the finance sector? Our client, a systematic trading hedge fund, is seeking talented individuals to join their dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing their database systems to support their operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain database systems to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
• Implement database monitoring tools and perform regular analysis to identify and resolve potential issues.
• Optimize database performance through tuning, indexing, and query optimization techniques.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.
• Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in database administration
• Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL
• Familiarity with SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL and BI services

Hybrid - 3- 4 days a week in office
