Front Office C# Quant Developer - FX - London

An established Global Bank is looking for an experienced C# Developer with strong WPF skills to work on Front Office trading platform.

The role will involve playing a key role in the design and development of a trading UI as part of the core in house built trading platform for the FX business. As the system matures there is a growing need for a more stable and responsive front end to satisfy the demands of the front office and this will involve speaking directly with the users to clearly understand the current state and conduct analysis for future state requirements. You will also have input into the proposed solution, formulating proof of concepts and then taking the prototype through the full life development life cycle into production.

Candidates must have:

• Strong core C# skills
• Strong WPF skills
• Strong OO background ideally with previous track record working on real-time, multithreaded systems
• Design patterns
• Developing well-structured, fully tested, clean, production ready code
• Strong academic background in Computer Science, or other Scientific/Engineering discipline preferred
• Previous front office or financial services knowledge is preferred
