Full Stack Developer - Node.js/JavaScript/Angular.js - Banking

My banking client in the city is looking to hire a permanent full stack software developer to completely digitalise their global web based client platform.

The role will involve playing a key role in the greenfield design and build of a new web based platform and you will be given the opportunity to build the solution using a modern technical stack including Node.js, Angular.js and JavaScript.

There is a strong Agile approach to development through the use of TDD and BDD concepts; as well as Continuous Delivery and a strong preference to move towards Event Driven Architectures. The environment is not architecture driven therefore offering a large amount of autonomy and freedom for developers to be creative and make a quantifiable difference across the organisation by introducing new technologies where appropriate.

Candidates will need:

• Strong software engineering background and track record of design and build of Full Stack Technical solutions
• Strong development background with experience using JavaScript.
• Strong commercial experience delivering into production web based front ends using Node.js, Angular.js, and MongoDB.
• Strong relational Database skills in either SQL Server, Oracle
• A background in financial services is highly advantageous
