Head of Cloud Engineering (Azure) - Financial Services - London

A global financial markets company is looking to hire a Head of Azure Cloud Engineering to spearhead their company-wide cloud transformation.

As the Head of Azure Cloud, you will play a pivotal role in leading and driving their ambitious transformation agenda. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders up to C-level and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, develop and execute the transformation strategy and deliver lasting change across the organisation.

The role involves running the entire cloud engineering practice including DevOps and Operations which will give you a unique chance to cement the DevOps culture within a renowned business as you take the company from on-prem to Azure cloud based infrastructure making a long-term impact in a rapidly evolving industry.

They will be looking for someone to:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive roadmap aligned to the Cloud strategy.
• Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership and drive alignment on transformation goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage change effectively and ensure smooth transition during the transformation process.

You will have:

• Demonstrated experience managing and scaling teams to 40+
• Azure subject matter expertise.
• Strong data & analytics knowledge (bonus).
