Infrastructure Architect - Banking

Infrastructure Architect (contract) - Banking - Manchester

My client is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Solutions specialist to join a team that provide design & delivery capabilities across all pillars of the bank.

This role will involve working on a range of data centre and application projects. You will be responsible for taking ownership of all infrastructure changes, creating design documents and engaging with various teams for delivery.

Candidates need:

• Strong Solution Design and Architecture background within infrastructure
• Broad range of experience across infrastructure e.g. Virtualisation, Server, Storage
• Experience with Windows and Unix
• Previous experience working on migrations to cloud
• Knowledge of microservices based architecture
• A banking background is ideal but other industries are also welcome.

Please note this will be a PAYE contract via an Umbrella
