Our client, a reputable Asset Management firm, is looking to hire a talented and ambitious IT Business Analyst to play a key role across their front office delivery team, servicing a wide range of functions and projects. Much of the focus for this person will be around the diverse range of tools used by key front office teams, and how new features are implemented on these tools. You will be the one spearheading the analysis for these technical projects and be work closely with the front office tech teams and users to define requirements and write functional specs.

This will suit someone who is a project-based, technology focussed Business Analyst and is very business-facing. You will be heavily involved in working with the front office teams so ideally you will have an interest/experience in financial markets.

Other requirements for this role are as follows:

  • Knowledge and experience across software delivery.
  • An interest in technical tools used by traders and portfolio managers and other front office teams.
  • Knowledge of financial products, workflows and processes.
  • Exposure to technology projects as a Business Analyst.
  • Previous experience working with stakeholders and technical teams to flesh out requirements and specs.
  • Ideally, you will have experience working as a BA across multiple projects involving the Business and IT.
  • Previous experience working in a buy-side firm is preferred.

The team operate a hybrid working environment - as this is a front-office role, the expectation will be working in their London offices 3-4 times a week.
