We are working with a leading Investment Bank looking to hire an IT BA/PM to sit within their Futures Front Office technology team. This is a highly visible, trader-facing role supporting a growing listed derivatives business, with Fidessa as the core platform.

The Role

You will sit directly alongside traders and product owners in London, acting as the bridge between the Futures desk, technology teams, and external vendors. This is a hybrid Business Analyst/Project Management position with real ownership across:

  • eTrading workflows (DMA, exchange connectivity, order lifecycle)
  • Futures product onboarding and exchange rollouts
  • Vendor release management (Fidessa upgrades & change impact)
  • Risk & limit dashboard enhancements
  • Front-to-back trade data flows into downstream systems

There is strong interaction with the Front Office - you'll be in the room with traders shaping how the platform evolves.

Current Projects Include

  • Managing and coordinating Fidessa release cycles
  • Building new risk and limits dashboards
  • Exchange onboarding (including new market connectivity in geo locations)
  • Enhancing internal downstream reporting and trade flows
  • Supporting scaling of a Futures platform that hasn't materially grown in recent years

What They're Looking For

Essential:

  • Strong eTrading experience (Equities or Futures)
  • Front Office-facing BA experience
  • Experience working with exchange connectivity/order routing
  • Vendor or release management exposure
  • Confident engaging directly with traders

Highly desirable:

  • Futures product knowledge
  • Fidessa experience
  • Listed derivatives exposure

Equities eTrading backgrounds are welcome - futures can be learned.

Why This Role?

  • Genuine Front Office exposure
  • High ownership environment
  • Broad remit across analysis, delivery and vendor management
  • Opportunity to help scale and modernise a Futures platform

This is best suited to a hands-on candidate who enjoys being close to the desk and can balance detailed analysis with structured delivery. They will pay between £80k-£100k for this person and the client operate a hybrid working policy.
