IT Security Architect - Cloud / Cyber / Network - Banking - London/Remote

My client, a leading Bank is looking to hire an IT Security Architect to work within their internal Security Engineering team. The role will involve taking ownership of Security Engineering and leading the end-to-end design and architecture of Security protocols across all divisions within the group. This will include providing a consultative approach to stakeholders and working closely with the business to identify opportunities to improve security, creating complex solutions and working with IT teams to drive and deliver technical change.

The projects range in scope from Cloud migration to Cyber, Applications and Network security and can look at candidates from any security background.

You must have:

• CISSP certification (mandatory)
• Strong background in the IT Security space
• Background in Financial Services
• Track record of Solution Architecture, Security Engineering and design
• Strong communication skills and ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels
• Technical knowledge in any of the following areas:
• DevOps and Cloud Security
• Network security
• Cryptography
• Security control frameworks (ISO27001)
• Application security

The role is remote but may require limited travel across the UK.

Please note this is a PAYE contract going through an Umbrella company. The rate quoted is the Umbrella rate.
