What is the opportunity?

One of my Banking clients, who have embarked on a massive digital initiative that will change the landscape of organisation forever, is looking to hire a back-end Java Developer to join their Digital Delivery team in their Bristol offices. This person will be working on some key projects focussed on the full-scale development of digital applications.

Who are the they?

They are a global Bank that has decided to focus on their digital offering and as such has backing from every senior stakeholder to ensure its success. They have recently opened a brand new Digital studio in the heart of Bristol and this role will be working in these high-tech offices on new equipment and the latest technological innovations.

What will you need?

To be right for this role, you will be an existing Java Developer already working on developing back-end code. You do not need to have previous financial services experience for this role. The following skills are key:

• Java 8 coding experience.
• Experience coding on a project where you have written unit tests and taken part in build and deployment activities.
• Agile delivery exposure.
• Microservices architecture exposure.
