Java Engineer - AWS - Microservices - Retail Banking

Our client, a London based Bank is currently looking to hire an experienced Java Microservices Engineer to work within their leading Retail Banking feature team.

Candidates will be working on a multi-year programme of work to engineer customer-centric, high-performance digital solutions, playing a key role in the ongoing evolution and development of their core platform.

The environment is built on a modern tech stack including Java on AWS and uses Terraform, with a strong focus on automation and unit testing.

Candidates must have:

• A strong background in Java Software Engineering
• Experience writing test cases using Junit
• Proven delivery of well tested production-ready software
• Experience with Agile methodologies, TDD, and CI/CD practices
• Experience in delivering microservices
