JavaScript Developer / HTML5 / AngularJS - Trading Systems - Banking

An established Global Bank is looking for an experienced front end Developer to build a JavaScript client for a front office trading application.

The role will involve the design and development of a new trading UI which in its current state does not offer the complete functionality required. As the system matures there is a growing need for a more stable and responsive front end to satisfy the demands of the front office and this will involve speaking directly with the users to clearly understand the current state and conduct analysis for future state requirements. You will also be tasked with putting together the development plan for the proposed solution, formulating a proof of concept and then taking the prototype through the full life development life cycle into production.

There is an Agile approach to software development with daily Scrums and a focus on lean, continuous delivery.

Candidates must come from a strong front end development background with a proven track record:

• Banking experience not required
• Design, build and implementation of complex web based front ends
• JavaScript, HTML5, AngularJS
• OO Design and development
• Design patterns
• Agile, TDD, Scrum
• Developing well-structured, fully tested, clean, production ready code
