JavaScript Engineer (Node.js/Vue.js) - Digital Finance - Manchester/Remote

Our Digital Financial Services client is looking to hire a Node.js Engineer to work on the design and development of exciting and innovative greenfield projects across its digital teams.

You will be working on the implementation of new features including chatbots and other digital interfaces that drive technology and culture.

You will be working with cutting edge technologies and play a pivotal role in the delivery of revolutionary and bespoke products for consumers.

Candidates will need:

• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript ideally in Node.js or Vue.js
• Experience in Microservices
• Experience of architecture and design on a greenfield project
• Knowledge of Kafka would be beneficial
• Financial Services background is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong Agile Development background and experience with TDD/BDD concepts and testing skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to add value.
