Lead Java Developer - Full Stack, Java, Angular

Our client is looking to hire a Technical Lead Java Developer to lead and build out a new development team in Cardiff. The successful candidate will have a large pipeline of work covering both leadership tasks (managing a small Java Development team), as well as working on an internal, integrated management platform; developing and maintaining the existing Microservices architecture. There is a strong Agile approach (through TDD, BDD, CI/CD concepts), which this candidate will need to implement and ensure such practises are being followed.

Candidates will need:

• Technical Leadership experience
• Expertise in Core Java/Java 8 development/design/architecture
• Experience working on Multithreaded systems is preferred
• Agile Development background; TDD/BDD and CI/CD concepts and testing frameworks
• Experience with RESTful Services, SQL
• Exposure to AWS cloud
• Open to industry background
