Lead Java Developer - Greenfield - Banking - London

My client is looking for an experienced Java Developer to lead the development of a multi-year greenfield project within its Retail Bank.

You'll be working with a team of principal engineers and architects to design and develop an API driven modern framework built using Java, Micro Services (SpringBoot), React and Mongo DB, providing a new digital platform to improve customer mortgage applications. The role requires leading an Agile team of enthusiastic developers from a range of backgrounds and is part of a well-funded area of the business, providing job security in a stable part of the bank.

Core skills required for the role are:

• Java
• SpringBoot
• MongoDB
• Design and implementation of REST APIs

Any experience with the following would be highly beneficial:

• Kubernetes
• Terraform
• Front-end experience with JavaScript/React would be a nice to have
• The ability to set up DevOps CI/CD pipelines
