Lead Java Developer - Investment Banking

My client, a Global Investment Bank, are looking for a Lead Java Developer to join their transaction reporting team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a global platform within a market leading team, giving candidates the opportunity to learn about the business and work on cutting edge technologies. The role will involve leading the design architecture and development of their Cloud based Microservices platform, with lots of exposure to different trading groups.

The successful candidate will be working in a Java environment and there is a large pipeline of work planned for the coming year and ambitious plans for growth. You would be working in a lead role in the development team, making key decisions, while also remaining very hands on. There is a preference for candidates that have built cloud-native applications from scratch.

Requirements:

• Development Lead experience
• Excellent Core Java (Java 8 or higher)
• Experience with SQL
• Knowledge of building microservices
• Experience with Docker, Middleware technologies and AWS nice to have
