Lead Scala Developer - Global FinTech - London

Our client, an established Global FinTech, is looking to hire an experienced Scala Developer onto a greenfield project within its Analytics business.

The role will involve the design and build of a new Data Lake in Scala, offering real-time analytics to customers globally.

Candidates will need:

• Strong commercial Scala development experience
• Expert level software engineering background
• Strong background working on complex distributed systems
• Demonstrable experience working on and delivering large scale development projects
• Any commercial experience in MongoDB or AWS would be highly beneficial.
• Previous hands on leadership experience
