Network Engineer: Cisco: ULL: CCNP: Firewalls: F5

One of our clients, a reputable brokerage, is looking to hire a Network Engineer to join a global team and play a pivotal role in several projects as well as key BAU tasks across several different business areas.

The company are currently expanding into different markets, so naturally the demand for networking expertise has become a lot greater - a good sign for any engineer who wants to work for a successful, growing company.

Some of the upcoming projects include big, global initiatives around cloud connectivity, data centre migrations and a company-wide strategic focus towards more network automation.

To be right for this role, you need to have the following:

• Strong Cisco experience (hardware, switching & routers).
• Firewall expertise.
• Any cloud experience beneficial, as is previous experience in the financial services space.
• Strong understanding around VoIP concepts/protocols.

The company will require this person to be in the office two days a week, with three day a week working from home. You will also be expected to work weekend and out of hours when required. The shift patterns cover early morning to the later shift which finishes at 5.30pm.

This is a multi-year programme with lots of extension possibilities. Please note that the rate quoted in the advert is the Umbrella rate.
