What is the opportunity?

One of my clients, a successful FinTech with offices in London, New York and Singapore, is looking to hire a talented Operations Engineer to join its core platform team, a division made up of engineers who are responsible for the upkeep, configuration and reliable operation of the company's flagship platform. You will play a key part in ensuring the system has the highest level of infrastructure availability, automating where possible and using your troubleshooting mindset to quickly and correctly diagnose issues with environments.

It's a highly technical role which requires a balanced level of experience between DevOps and Linux Administration tasks - this is key to being able to ensure parity between environments.

What will you need?

To be right for this role, you will be an existing and experienced Operations Technology Engineer/Administrator ideally with a Computer Science degree. The following skills are key:

• Linux Engineering/Administration skills
• Terraform (Hashicorp products)
• Ansible
• Shell Scripting
• Open-source products (Vagrant)
