Platform Engineer - Financial Services - Greenfield

My client, an investment manager specialising in systematic trading are looking to hire a Platform Engineer to act as the AWS SME and help set up their AWS infrastructure to provide cloud solutions across the business.

The role will involve setting things up from scratch and working with various business units to rearchitect all these solutions. It's a great opportunity to have real impact at the company!

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of AWS
• Strong experience with containerisation and orchestration with Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Linux and scripting preferably Python
• Advocate for automation
• Understanding of Cloud Security and networking
• Previous experience working in a greenfield role and/or within a trading environment is highly beneficial

Please note: This role requires you to be in office 4-5 days p/w in London.
