One of our clients, a reputable Bank, is looking to hire a Project Manger with previous experience in Financial Markets to co-ordinate some big-ticket projects across their production services space.

This area supports the whole of Markets IT for the Bank, and you will come not a team that requires strong direction and organisational skills when it comes to delivering key services.

You will essentially be the number two to the head of the area and be expected to sit with executives as well as software development teams and vendors to understand what is needed and put in place frameworks on how to how the team must operate to deliver requirements.

It is essential you have plenty of experience in financial markets in another Investment Bank as a Project Manager. Our client won't interview people who do not have this experience. Other experience needed is as follows:

• Product knowledge across the likes of FX, Equities and Fixed Income.
• Proven track record in running meetings, vendor management and co-ordinating financial markets project delivery.
• Good knowledge across the trade lifecycle space.
• Ideally someone who has worked in some IT-focussed projects within Investment Banking.

This is a 6-month contract with a view to extending thereafter. You will be expected to come into the London office at least twice a week. Please note that this is a PAYE contract going through an Umbrella company. The rate quoted is the Umbrella rate.
