Project Manager; Business Analyst; Trade Lifecycle; OTC Derivatives; Collateral Management; Agile

One of my clients, a leading Investment Bank, is looking to hire an IT Project Manager to work on a brand-new project within their Collateral Management space.

The team have been tasked to ensure that the area they work within support its clients with a much more fluid and improved end-to-end collateral process system. The project's aim is therefore to improve its reporting capabilities, data feeds, STP process, automation capabilities and its overall ability to provide solutions in answering queries more efficient.

It is a role that requires full front to back trade lifecycle knowledge and will see the Project Manager liaise and deal with difficult and demanding stakeholders across their Markets business.

The right Project Manager will come into the team at a crucial early stage where project deliverables have already been set for H1 and the book of work already full for the rest of 2021 and beyond. You will also have a Business Analyst reporting into you, likely to be hired in Q2.

To be right for this role, you need to show a clear track record in the following:

  • First-rate, full front-back trade lifecycle knowledge with specific understanding of OTC derivatives, Futures, Repos and other traded products.
  • An understanding of how and where Collateral fits in the trade lifecycle.
  • Previous experience performing Business Analysis tasks and good SQL skills.
  • Experience of running and managing work streams with full accountability for the assigned deliverables.
  • Experience in formulating project plans and project milestones as well as running workshops within another Banking organisation.
  • Excellent experience in dealing with demanding, senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working in an Agile development methodology environment (preferably Scrum/Kanban) & Atlassian suite of products: JIRA, confluence.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading Investment Bank in a new project that has been given full backing by the business and a large book of work.

The role will be remote to begin with and, when possible, the company are likely to revert 3 days a week in the office requirement, however these plans are not yet finalised and are subject to change.
