Scala Developer - Global Technology Company - London

My client, a global technology company, are currently recruiting for a Scala Developer for a long term greenfield piece of work.

The role will involve working on a new project to build a new product offering and will involve looking at an existing Scala codebase and adding a host of new functionalities and business logic, as well as making it more flexible and scalable in order to satisfy a larger client base.

Candidates must have:

• Strong commercial Scala skills
• Strong hands on development experience
• Git
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Strong background in OO design and development
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field
