Scala, Python, Big Data Engineer (Scala, Python, Spark, Hadoop) - Global FinTech

Our client, an established Global FinTech, is looking to hire an experienced Scala/Python Engineer onto a greenfield project within its Analytics business.

The role will involve the design and build of a new Data Lake in Scala, Python, Hadoop and Spark offering real-time analytics to customers globally.

Candidates will need:

• Strong commercial Scala or Python development experience
• Expert level software engineering background
• Strong background working on complex distributed systems
• Demonstrable experience working on and delivering large scale development projects
• Any commercial experience in Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Cassandra or AWS would be highly beneficial.
