Join a Systematic Fund currently seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Senior Java Developer contributing to the build-out of a systematic Equities platform. This role is integral to the Trading & Execution department, focusing on both the services used by the system and data management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on the development of the Systematic Equities platform.
  • Contribute to the creation of a robust data platform, including tick-level data from exchanges and connectivity.
  • Deliver infrastructure that adds tangible value to the business, with a focus on data-related projects
  • Collaborate on both new and existing projects, maintaining a strong emphasis on the accurate representation of financial instruments.

Background and Qualifications:

  • Excellent knowledge of Core Java
  • Degree in Computer Science.
  • Experience in either the Buy or Sell Side facing off to the business
  • Passionate about technology and demonstrated collaborative mindset.
  • Prior experience working on a singular large project as opposed to multiple smaller projects.
  • Proven ability to contribute input on architecture and design.
  • Familiarity with Python is preferred.
  • Ability to dive deep into technology, particularly with a focus on historic tick data.
  • Capability to take ownership of systems and articulate past achievements.
