Senior SRE - Financial Services - London

My client, an investment manager specialising in systematic trading are looking to hire a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to be part of a new team that will be responsible for ensuring best in class reliability and performance for their low latency market making systems.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of shaping the SRE function within the organisation and as you help drive business continuity through the principles of Chaos Engineering to enable any issues to be resolved across their stack.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating, monitoring and upgrading a large number of Windows servers
• Experience with trading systems ideally within a Windows environment
• Knowledge of databases (KDB, Postgres, Clickhouse) or network connectivity utilized for low latency price distribution is a plus
• Expertise in Chaos Engineering and business continuity practices
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with different teams

Given the client boasts a very collaborative environment where you'll work closely with a number of different teams, this position will require you to be in office 4-5 days p/w in London.
