Solution Architect: Data Design: Data Resilience: Data Lineage: PowerBI; ServiceNow

One of my Banking clients is looking to hire an experienced Solution Architect to play an important role in a complex data resilience initiative across a number of their key banking divisions. You will join at a great time, as they have only just started the journey and the expectation is that this programme of work could last 2-3 years.

The Bank have been set strict deadlines from the FCA to ensure that their data services, which their customers and wider markets rely upon, are in line with new regulatory requirements, and as such you will join at a time where there will be a lot of design work around data flows (to make sure these data paths are resilient), and identifying what sort of information assets they need to capture to meet these deadlines.

Following the design phase, you will then work on executing the design into several areas such as reporting and MI, risk & controls, operational governance etc.

To be right for this role, you must have the following:

• Strong experience with Data and Security architecture design.
• Experience designing technical solutions around data resilience.
• Should you not have worked on a data resilience project, the client will need to see previous delivery experience on some of the following:
• Data Lineage projects (BCBS239)
• Technology Resilience
• Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery programmes of work.
• If you have not got tangible experience across any of the above, the client can't consider you for these roles.
• Experience using either PowerBI, ServiceNow, Tableau or Collibra.

The Bank operate a mostly remote-based working model - you will be expected to come into their offices when there are collaboration or workshop days, but on days where you do not have these, you can work from home.

This role is a PAYE contract going through an Umbrella company. Please note that the rate quoted is the Umbrella rate.
