Test Automation Engineer / Java - Financial Technology - London

My client, a global FinTech company, are currently recruiting for a Senior Tester to build an entirely new automation framework from scratch.

The candidate will be part of a new testing team and will have a strong level of responsibility in terms of how the framework is built. Ideally candidates would come from a software development background but the client can look at candidates who began their career as a tester before moving into SDET or a Test Automation Engineer role; as long as there is a proven track record of coding in Java.

Candidates must have:

• Strong hands on testing experience with strong recent automation
• previous experience in creating and delivering an automation test framework from scratch
• Background working in a fully Agile environment
• Solid Java experience
• Be comfortable using a range of testing tools including Selenium, Cucumber and JUnit
