UI Developer - Frontend Developer - JavaScript - Banking

My global Banking client is looking for an experienced UI Developer to join its digital division focussed on the build out of a Greenfield digital development initiative.

They anticipate this project to last a good 4-5 years and thus need a creative, Agile-focussed UI developer to help work as part of a team in developing the front-end to support a demanding Digital delivery roadmap. Other responsibilities include:

• Define user stories within an enthusiastic Scrum team.
• Code to a high standard whilst taking part in code reviews.
• Take the lead in build and deployment activities.
• Assist team in troubleshooting technical issues.

To be right for this role, candidates must have a proven track record in the following:

• Strong JavaScript coding skills on both front and back end.
• Experience in one or more of the following: HTML5, CSS, JSP, XML.
• ReactJS experience is highly desirable but not essential.
• Good design experience and ability to enhance UX designs through coding principles.
• Thirst for working in an innovation lab type environment.
• Genuine interest in digital technology.
