Low Latency Engineer: Linux: FX: Electronic Trading: FIX
One of our clients, a reputable Bank, is looking to hire a Low Latency Linux Engineer to play a crucial role in their eFX division, specifically providing infrastructure services for the pricing, trading and risk management streams across FX electronic trading.
This role will be all about designing and executing low-latency infrastructure, so you need to have a background in the following to be considered:
- Deep understanding of Linux at an extremely high level (kernel and tuning skills).
- Understanding of technical ultra-low latency competencies including network adapters and messaging.
- Previous experience in eFX or similar banking environment.
- FIX Protocol experience.
- Experience using Azul Zing is preferable but not essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very established, stable team who have a wealth of experience and knowledge within the FX electronic trading low-latency space, using cutting edge technology in a fully remote set-up.
Please note that the rate quoted is the umbrella rate. As per the above, this can be a fully remote role and will be a minimum 12-month contract.
